So you know how I said Chapter Two would be out soon a few months ago and then I never released it? There is a reasonably good explanation for that...

So, just before I was going to upload it, I did a major overhaul of the dialogue system to add extra functionality to it. This included a new avatar system.

Unfortunately, I had no avatars. So they were using some very crude placeholder sprites and I hated them. I didn't want to release an update with such jank visuals, so I have held off for far too long.

Luckily, several months later I've found an artist who is happy to indulge in my ridiculous game.

So, the short version is: Chapter II has been functionally finished for months,  but I was too embarrassed to show the janky avatars and wanted to wait to give you the best early experience I could. My bad.
